On August 10, Zeng Huajun, member of the Party Group of the Health Commission of Sichuan Province, full-time Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Health Office, and first-level inspector, presided over the Preparatory Meeting for Epidemic Prevention and Control and Medical Security of the 18th WCIF. Yi Yang, Deputy Director of Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, and Wang Qiang, Financial Director of Sichuan International Expo Group, introduced the preparations for the epidemic prevention and control and medical security work of WCIF respectively, as well as matters that need the support and coordination of the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission. The Director of the Finance Department of Sichuan International Expo Group and the personnel who are specifically responsible for logistics support participated in this preparatory meeting.
The meeting also discussed the composition and division of responsibilities of WCIF’s Epidemic Prevention and Control and the Medical Security Work Department, clarified that the epidemic prevention and control and the medical security work department has four working teams, including a comprehensive coordination team, an epidemic prevention and control and medical security team, a health supervision team, and a health emergency team, and determined the responsibilities and specific contact persons of each working team.
