The main exhibition venue of the 18th WCIF is located in the International Exhibition Center of Western China International Expo City. The total planned exhibition area is about 200,000 square meters, consisting of a theme exhibition area (10 theme pavilions), a special exhibition area (3 professional exhibitions), and an outdoor food exhibition area. Sichuan Export Commodities Exhibition, the 3rd Western China International Maternity, Baby and Children Products Expo & the 2nd Western China (International) Children Culture and Entertainment Expo, and the 12th Western China International Hardware Mechanical& Electrical Expo will be held as parallel sessions. This year’s WCIF will focus on improving the level of informatization, highlight the development of online and offline integration, foster an exhibition service platform supported by modern digital technology, and create an online exhibition platform and an online WCIF HI-GO Shopping Festival. It will strengthen the interactive function of Internet services, realize “cloud showroom”, “cloud business talk”, “cloud signing ceremony”, “cloud promotion”, and “livestreaming sales.” By scanning one QR code visitors will access all updated information about the exhibition. Also, it brings visitors three-dimensional experiences and real-time interaction.
Hall 1-2 The 5th China (Sichuan) International Senior Care Industry & Service Exhibition mainly showcases new technologies, products, and concepts in senior care services and senior care industries both at home and abroad, as well as inside and outside the province. The exhibition area sets Smart Care: Smart and Healthy Senior Care, Residential Care: Livable and Comfortable Senior Care, Reassuring Care: Assured and High-Quality Senior Care, and Leisurely Care: Cultural and Recreational Senior Care, with a centralized display of relevant facilities, equipment, product services, technological achievements and the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly. Hall 3 Regional Cooperation and Development Pavilion: The Pavilion has set up exhibition areas for the central and eastern provinces (autonomous regions and municipality), mainly showcasing the scientific and technological achievements, major projects, investment opportunities and featured products of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Yangtze River Economic Belt and Yellow River Basin Economic Belt regions. It also showcases the achievements of Zhejiang's counterpart support, east-west cooperation, and provincial enclave parks, as well as major leading industrial cooperation projects.
Hall 4 "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Pavilion: The Pavilion will set up exhibition areas of Guest Country of Honor, national pavilion, sustainable development, and cross-border trade, which will mainly showcase investment opportunities in countries and regions along the Belt and Road, achievements of economic, trade and cultural cooperation and exchanges, as well as global renowned brands and imported consumer goods.
Hall 5 Enterprise Development Pavilion: The Pavilion has set up exhibition areas for state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and advantageous special industries, with a focus on showcasing the future plans, new technologies, new achievements, and new products of central and local state-owned enterprises, renowned domestic private enterprises in pursuit of high-end, new-type, and scaled-up development in related fields.
Hall 6 Western China Development in the New Era Pavilion: The Pavilion consists of exhibition areas for western provinces (autonomous regions and municipality) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as exhibition areas of Sichuan Province scientific and technological achievements transformation, mainly highlighting the achievements of development and opening up, the progress of modern industrial systems, scientific and technological innovations, advantageous industries, and featured products of the western regions in the new era.
Hall 10-11 Sichuan Collaborative Development Pavilion: The Pavilion has set up city (prefecture) and some district (county) exhibition areas, mainly displaying the overall planning and layout, modernization achievements, rural revitalization achievements, culture and featured products of Chengdu Plain Economic Zone, South Sichuan Economic Zone, Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone, Panxi Economic Zone, and Northwest Sichuan Ecological Demonstration Zone.
Hall 14 Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Pavilion: The Pavilion houses exhibition areas for relevant cities (prefectures) and districts (counties) in Sichuan and Chongqing, mainly showcasing the achievements and major leading projects of cooperation between relevant cities (prefectures) and districts (counties) in Sichuan and Chongqing, including modern industrial system construction, infrastructure interconnection, collaborative construction of scientific and technological innovation centers, ecological co-construction and co-protection, urban-rural integrated development, and joint contribution and shared benefits of public services in Chengdu-Chongqing region.
Hall 15 The 4th Western China International Digital Economy Expo mainly displays the application scenarios and benchmark projects of digital economy leading enterprises, emerging unicorn enterprises, specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, and industrial parks, etc... in digital technologies, such as 5G, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, digital government, smart society, new smart city, industrial Internet, and green low-carbon, and the latest products of digital core industries including “integrated circuits, displays, storage, sensor and intelligent terminal” and “Dazhiwangyunan”. To implement the national strategy of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the 19th WCIF sets the WCIF Hydrogen Energy Industry Theme Pavilion & the First Western China International Hydrogen Energy Industry Expo. Focusing on the entire industry chain of "production, storage, transmission, and application", the Expo will highlight the cutting-edge technology, latest achievements, and application scenarios of pioneering enterprises in the hydrogen energy industry, SRDI “little giant” enterprises, demonstration units, hydrogen energy and fuel cell industries, aiming to create a cooperative ecosystem for the whole industry chain of hydrogen energy industry across the central and western regions of China. Concurrently, the 2nd Chengdu International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Industry Conference & the First Sichuan-Chongqing Hydrogen Industry Ecological Cooperation Conference will also be held.
Through exhibitions and promotions, it will showcase the ethnic culture, folk culture, and red culture of Western China in an all-around manner, aiming to enhance people-to-people exchanges in Western China and promote cultural development and prosperity. The 2nd China (Sichuan) Rehabilitation and Assistive Devices Expo aims to promote significant development in the rehabilitation and assistive devices industry in Sichuan and better meet the diverse and multi-level consumption demands of rehabilitation and assistive devices from various special groups throughout the province, including the elderly and the disabled.
